Wow, how are we talking about cocktail recipes already? Where the hell did 2009 go? This hasn’t exactly been an epic year, though I can say I’ve had worse. I’ve got high hopes for 2010, and this time around, I have a whole new arsenal of weapons to achieve my goals: a renewed sense of purpose and an improved outlook on life. Good Things ™ are planned this year, and I fully intend to make this the best I’ve had in a very long time! Anyone who disagrees can schedule a one-on-one meeting with my boot.

Anyways, it’s time to think about New Years Eve. I’m not really into the hard core party thing anymore, but I do love a creatively mixed cocktail recipe. I also have this little love affair with the bubbly, so I’m going to share with you a few fabulous drink combos to help you ring in 2010 with style.

I can’t believe someone can find that much to say about Jello shots to start a whole blog about them. Amazing.

Thanks for pointing out the other drinks! Happy new year!

Indeed. Then I made some and we only ate 1/4 of them… now they’re taking over our fridge! What the hell are we supposed to do with them after the fact?!

We are such stay-at-home geeks, but I enjoyed the pretty photo and the idea of adult beverages.

I am too, these days. But we still made some jello shots for home, but didn’t even come close to eating them all!

Me too! Actually, I only had a few sips of champagne. The headache the next day was just too much to confront. ;)

Happy New Year!

When you come to Ashland, Girlfriend, we are going to have to go out drinking and get the local bartenders to make us some of these (we’ll conveniently forget that I am nursing…) Yum.
