I’ve been perusing Amazon.com for holiday gifts, and I just came across a good deal on KitchenAid mixers. I know a lot of you out there are dying for one of these babies, so I thought I’d share:
- KitchenAid Artisan 5-Quart Stand Mixers in a HUGE variety of colors, only $269 (free shipping and no sales tax)
- The smaller KitchenAid Classic 250-Watt 4-1/2-Quart Stand Mixer in White, only $198 (free shipping and no sales tax)
Also, Amazon’s got a great deal on the BlendTec blender:
- Blendtec Home 1500-Watt Total Blender, $399 (you have to click on the black model… for some reason the white one is $20 more.)
Other deals I’ve posted:
- Agave Nectar for Cheap
- Pamela’s Gluten Free Cornbread Mix (perfect for the holidays!)

Hurray for KitchenAid mixers on sale! My husband normally shuns these kinds of gifts, but my begging finally paid off: he presented me with an Artisan for Mother’s Day. This mixer usually gets used once a week (at a minimum) – more than any other small appliance in the kitchen. Now I can get one for my mom for Christmas – she was coveting mine all during her last visit.
That’s great! I love happy endings.
it was great meeting at the festival…and thanks for letting us know about that mixer deal…we don’t bake..but getting that just might force us to!

It was great to meet you too! And I love my mixer – now that I have it, I use it for everything. It’s pretty incredible what sort of attachments they make for it…
I did see that sale on Amazon. I just bought my red 5 qt. at Bed Bath and Beyond. With the 20% coupon I think it ended up to be around $230 (plus tax) Now It sits under the Christmas Tree for a month :-/
Aaaah, the hardest part of Christmas… the waiting.

I have used Kitchenaid stand mixers for a couple of decades. Their quality was great back then and it is a fact that Kitchenaid “still makes them like they used to!” They come in a wide selection of sizes and colors and if you aren’t experienced using the many attachments available, you are in for a very pleasant surprise!
This is an appliance that, if properly cared for, can be passed down from one generation to the next. Good luck and happy cooking!
I love my Kitchenaid! Seriously, one of the most used pieces of equipment in my kitchen. My grandma had one too.
This is a nice mixer. It was actually very cheap around Black Friday last month. I think it sold for $213 or so.
