I’ve been perusing Amazon.com for holiday gifts, and I just came across a good deal on KitchenAid mixers. I know a lot of you out there are dying for one of these babies, so I thought I’d share:

Also, Amazon’s got a great deal on the BlendTec blender:

Hurray for KitchenAid mixers on sale! My husband normally shuns these kinds of gifts, but my begging finally paid off: he presented me with an Artisan for Mother’s Day. This mixer usually gets used once a week (at a minimum) – more than any other small appliance in the kitchen. Now I can get one for my mom for Christmas – she was coveting mine all during her last visit.

It was great to meet you too! And I love my mixer – now that I have it, I use it for everything. It’s pretty incredible what sort of attachments they make for it…

I did see that sale on Amazon. I just bought my red 5 qt. at Bed Bath and Beyond. With the 20% coupon I think it ended up to be around $230 (plus tax) Now It sits under the Christmas Tree for a month :-/

I have used Kitchenaid stand mixers for a couple of decades. Their quality was great back then and it is a fact that Kitchenaid “still makes them like they used to!” They come in a wide selection of sizes and colors and if you aren’t experienced using the many attachments available, you are in for a very pleasant surprise!

This is an appliance that, if properly cared for, can be passed down from one generation to the next. Good luck and happy cooking!

I love my Kitchenaid! Seriously, one of the most used pieces of equipment in my kitchen. My grandma had one too. :)

This is a nice mixer. It was actually very cheap around Black Friday last month. I think it sold for $213 or so.
