A Great Deal on Agave Nectar

I use agave nectar in my cooking because I’m trying to avoid refined sugar in my diet. Agave is a great replacement for sugar, and it works well in baking or as a sugar sweet shot in your cereal or coffee. I love the clean taste, the gentle texture, and the way it easily mixes into any liquid. If it weren’t for agave nectar, I probably wouldn’t eat anything sweet anymore.

A lot of my readers have a hard time finding agave nectar in their area, or else it’s really expensive when they do find it. I just found a great deal on Amazon – 12 bottles for $34! That breaks down to about $2.83 a bottle, which is substantially lower than what I pay for it at my local grocery store (where it runs about $5 or more). If you order with Super Saver Shipping, you’ll get your box shipped for free – and unless you live in Washington, you won’t have to pay sales tax. This is a ridiculously good deal on agave, and if you’re trying to avoid putting refined crap in your body, you should seriously check this stuff out.

Here you go:
Madhava Raw Pure Organic, Agave Nectar Natural Sweetener, Light, 11.75-Ounce Squeeze Bottles (Pack of 12)

You can thank me by leaving a comment here letting me know your favorite use for agave nectar. :)

If you want to know more about how to bake with agave, check out Ania Catalano’s Baking with Agave Nectar: Over 100 Recipes Using Nature’s Ultimate Sweetener. I love this book, and it’s really helped me to reduce the amount of refined sugar in my diet without feeling deprived of baked goodies.

Ooh! Since I’m trying to cut back on sugar, I should get some of this stuff and find that book. Thanks!

Agave has really helped me improve my diet without feeling like I’m dying for something sweet. I actually prefer its taste over sugar, too!

Awesome-what a deal! I’ve only used it a few times, but my sister turned me on to it and has used it quite a bit in things like homemade granola bars. I think I’ll take advantage of the deal and give some to her! It’s cheaper than honey at that price! And thanks for the “cooking with agave” link.

Yay! I bought a big box and shared it with some friends. I still ended up with enough agave to last me six months, and for super cheap.
