Thanks, George! Someone served me Cuervo a few weeks ago and I just about gagged – though it’s not so bad in a mixed drink, I suppose. I do prefer the Hornitos.

Great write up!

I always remind people not to get the cheapest tequila – don’t buy Cuervo Gold or Sauza Gold – these are typically aged one to two months, the color is added (caramel, etc.). The Tequila you’ve recommended is excellent, more expensive than I usually buy for a party – I tend to use blanco for margaritas.
