About Wasabimon:

As a food blog, Wasabimon covers a wide range of topics from recipes to book reviews to food-related blather. This site catalogs the culinary adventures of Stephanie Stiavetti, who fancies herself a food writer and loves to discuss here all the topics she can’t stop talking about in person.

Her interests run the gamut of culinary culture, centering specifically on seasonal foods, organic cooking, nutritional health, food photography, and all around creative taste-making. A few years ago Stephanie was diagnosed with a gluten intolerance, so nearly all of the recipes on Wasabimon are gluten free. You’ll find a fair amount of vegan recipes here as well.

One thing’s for sure: you won’t find any prefab, synthetic, or HFCS-laden foods here. Gross! Wasabimon is all about eating well – in every sense of the word.

Stephanie Stiavetti’s Bio:

Stephanie is a food writer living in the San Francisco Bay Area. She particularly loves cooking adventurously, taking everyday foods and making them edible by anyone, regardless of dietary restrictions. As one who loves to eat, she does not believe in life without something delicious on the table.

Passionate about anything having to do with food or literature, she was fated to combine the two into the makings of a career. After having spent the first half of her adult life submerged in the world of technology, Stephanie has happily given up the computer industry and now makes her living as a culinary wordsmith. Her work has appeared in such major media outlets as Pregnancy Magazine, Clean Eating, and NPR Online.

Stephanie’s professional website is located at StephanieStiavetti.com. She also Twitters under the username ‘sstiavetti’ where she posts about food, nutrition, and writing.
